Primary responsibilities include internal operations, design and communication. Creating a central knowledge base to reinforce clarity across the company and implementing a communication strategy for all teams. Overhauling existing design presence, creating unified design system for all parts of the business including three marketing websites and a central online store.
Global Curriculum Director | Design
RED Academy, Global / May 19 - Apr 21
Responsible for all design curricula for schools in London, Toronto, Vancouver and partner universities. Lead academic change within RED. Redefined learning approach, principles and methodology focused on flexible, experiential and reflective learning. Enabled remote blended learning delivery. Integrated design, engineering and marketing curricula to facilitate collaborative learning. Designed and successfully trialled new curriculum and education model, reducing delivery costs by more than 50%. Hired and assembled delivery teams. Designed and led remote training courses for University of Alberta instructional team, and for global sales and marketing teams. Coached and supported programme managers and instructional staff across organisation, facilitating group workshops.

Split academic and commercial role working on university partnerships in EMEA. Obtaining academic value propositions from potential partner universities and providing academic insight during negotiations. Developing longterm UX vision and strategy. Bridging the gap between internal teams, establishing clear channels of communication, developing the partnership sales cycle and operational implementation.
User Experience Designer
LearnJam, Remote / Sep 21 - Nov 21 (Contract)
Pearson is developing a concept for a B2C remedial product for learners after they have received their PTE Academic results. Working as the UX lead on the LearnJam team engaged by Pearson to design, build and test the prototypes with learners, and then collate findings and recommendations. Undertaking the creation of an exciting new concept, feature list and user journey for the product, providing users with additional support with a personalised and customised solution based on their specific area of weakness. Running user tests on elements of the user experience as-well as elements of the commercial proposition.
Product Designer
Vialog, Remote / Apr 21 - Sep 21 (Contract)
Innovate UK funded project, building a tool for remote, asynchronous video communication between students and teachers within universities. Responsible for large scale overhaul of the tool and the management platform. Part of a cross-functional team. Took data from user testing and feedback through the full product design process to published new version. Established central knowledge base for the company, refined values, use cases. Tool piloted with the University of Edinburgh and Roehampton.

Leading the UI & Communication program, delivering an exceptional student learning experience through mentoring and active learning. Teaching an extensive knowledge of theoretical design and UI design. Facilitating and coaching the students. Shaping the curriculum, supporting Curriculum Director, developing lessons and providing external workshops using my own network in the industry. Interviewing prospective students. Supporting commercial teams and running public sampler events and workshops. Achieved an NPS score of 100 leading to fast progression within the business.

Designer and brand consultant. Primarily working on brand identity design, website design, heritage rebranding and pre-investment packages for startups and early stage companies. Established as a move for further responsibility, creativity and to build long lasting client relationships, delivering exceptional pieces, innovative ideas and outstanding service.
